Centre and CBI differ on 2G note against Chidambaram Posted: 27 Sep 2011 10:20 AM PDT The CBI today told the Supreme Court that there is no need to consider investigating P Chidambaram's actions during the telecom scam. The investigating agency was referring to a note from the Finance Ministry that finds Mr Chidambaram did not act rigorously enough as Finance Minister in 2008 to ensure that valuable spectrum was sold at fair prices to companies. |

The 51-year-old died in hospital yesterday, nearly four months after she was hit, allegedly by the police, at Baba Ramdev's camp in Delhi. "The Home Minister should answer for Rajbala's death", said the BJP's Nirmala Sitharaman this afternoon. |

So if you have itchy fingers, watch out. Starting today, nobody can send more than 100 sms-es a day. The new rule, introduced by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, is aimed at checking those random text messages you receive on how to buy a sauna belt, or "lose motapa (get thinner)." |
