An unidentified woman today committed suicide at the Sahar International Airport on Wednesday, police said. The woman, who was in her 20s, committed suicide by jumping off the departure bridge of the airport this evening, DCP Satynarayanan Chowdhary said.

Ruchika case: High Court rejects Rathore’s bail plea

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has rejected former DGP SPS Rathore's plea for bail. Rathore was sentenced to 18 months of imprisonment by Chandigarh Sessions Court for molesting Ruchika Girhotra. The High Court has also rejected Rathore's plea for release on probation.
