Gaya: Maoists loot, torch houses

Armed Maoists burnt several houses, including that of a BJP leader, and looted valuables worth Rs 50 lakh in Imamganj area of Naxal hit Gaya district in Bihar early on Thursday, the police said. The Maoists held a kangaroo court that passed an order for 'attachment of properties' of Dhanraj Sharma, BJP's Gaya district vice-president and a close aide of the Bihar Assembly Speaker U N Choudhury, and eight others at Kotiya village for working against them.
