Pushpa Rani, who hailed from Gorakhpur district, was a first year student at a local engineering college and staying in Kavinagar. She allegedly hanged herself to death on Wednesday evening, police said. |

| Trials in CWG lanes lead to traffic snarls Posted: Commuters had another harrowing day as Delhi Police on Thursday continued with the trials on exclusive lanes for Commonwealth Games vehicles on two stretches in the national capital. The trials were conducted on Nizamuddin Bridge, Ring Road, Captain Gaur Marg upto Kalkaji Mandir and Sardar Patel Marg, Mother Teressa Crescent Road from 12 noon to 2 PM, which led to traffic snarls on both the stretches. |

The Maoists held a kangaroo court that passed an order for 'attachment of properties' of Dhanraj Sharma, BJP's Gaya district vice-president and a close aide of the Bihar Assembly Speaker U N Choudhury, and eight others at Kotiya village for working against them. |
