For the second consecutive day today, the Capital woke up to a cold and foggy morning. Dense fog over some other parts of north India caused disruption of rail services with at least 35 trains running behind schedule.

Fifteen people were killed and 31 others were injured after a fire broke out at a community hall in Nand Nagri in east Delhi on Sunday evening.

Man kills wife at a police station in Madurai

A 35-year-old man is reported to have killed his wife at a police station in Madurai on Sunday afternoon. Kannan and his wife Muththulakshmi had come to the police station for a counseling session, during which the two reportedly had an altercation.
