Two cities notorious for their choked roads are teaming up to share ideas on how to better manage traffic. A Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority executive says he is working on an agreement with his counterpart in Beijing that will lead to an exchange of technical expertise and joint research projects.

Pakistan: 2 killed as gunmen fire outside mosque

At least two persons were killed and six others injured when three unidentified gunmen opened fire at a mosque in Bahawalpur in central Pakistan on Saturday. The gunmen, who were travelling on a motorcycle, began firing when people gathered outside the Al-Qamar mosque after the 'Fajr' or pre-dawn prayers in Satellite Town area of Bahawalpur.
