Man sexually assaulted 80-year-olds over 17 years

Posted:

A 53-year-old man has been charged with sexually assaulting vulnerable octogenarians, including an Alzheimer's and a Parkinson's patient, over a 17-year period, a media report said.

Delroy Grant, a married father of nine - dubbed the Night Stalker - allegedly conducted a planned series of rapes, sexual assaults and burglaries targeting both men and women, most of them in their eighties, the Daily Telegraph reported.

The cab driver from Brockley, southeast London, wore a mask, cut the telephone lines and removed light bulbs before striking, always at night, prosecutors told the Woolwich Crown Court.

Among the victims was an 82-year-old woman suffering from Alzheimer's disease and an 83-year-old man, who was partly blind, deaf and suffered from Parkinson's disease.

The eldest victim was 89.

The alleged offences took place between 1992 and 2009 at 18 addresses across south London, the prosecution said.

Grant raped or attempted to rape four of his elderly victims and carried out indecent and sexual assaults against seven others.

The court was told Grant's DNA was recovered at 12 of the 18 incident sites.

Grant has, however, denied all charges, claiming that his ex-wife had conspired with a male friend to frame him for the crimes.

Woman poses semi-nude to sell cheating boyfriend's clothes on eBay

A woman in the US has taken revenge on her cheating boyfriend by modelling nearly naked with his clothes while selling them on eBay.

The woman, who calls herself Taylor Morgan, has already made nearly 1,000 dollars from the online auction, as she shows off the garments in a string of sexy, semi-nude poses.

The latest item she sold was a cheque shirt worth 49 dollars, but with her suggestive advertising she managed to bag 87.50 dollars for it.

The winner of each item also gets a signed 'Thank you' note from 26-year-old Morgan.

The busty brunette, from Boca Raton, Florida, has already sold 21 pieces, including shirts, trousers, belts and hats.

Items currently up for sale include clothes from designers Marc Ecko, Kenneth Cole and Hollister.

Morgan started the auction to get back at her boyfriend, who she kicked out of her house when a friend caught him cheating, but she claims the sale isn't all about getting revenge.

"It's not about me being vindictive. Maybe initially I was getting back at him, but now I don't feel that way. It's fun. I find this all to be very therapeutic, very liberating," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"He preferred that I be a lot more conservative and didn't like for me to dress sexy.

"So now I'm saying, 'You don't have a say-so anymore'," she added.

JFK Jr smoked dope, liked tantric sex, reveals ex

Posted:

John F Kennedy Jr's former lover Christina Haag has revealed how the man had a penchant for tantric sex and smoked marijuana.

Haag reveals in her forthcoming memoir that the pair was offered an 'enormous spliff' by some islanders after they almost drowned at sea while kayaking.

"He'd secretly brought his Klepper kayak, a fancy collapsible kind. He had also packed something else -- a book on tantric sex a friend had given him after returning from Thailand," the Daily Mail quoted her as writing in the book.

She added that Kennedy was shook up after the kayaking incident.

"Unable to be still, he paced the beach muttering something, his eyes wide and to the ground,' said Miss Haag. 'Don't tell Mummy, don't tell Mummy," she writes.

Haag met Kennedy at college where they were roommates.

Kennedy was just 38 when a plane he was piloting went into the Atlantic off Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.

The 1999 crash killed him, his wife Carolyn, 33, and her sister Lauren. Investigators said the probable cause was his "failure to maintain control of the airplane."

Until his marriage he was also one of the world's most eligible bachelors and dated Sarah Jessica Parker, actress Daryl Hannah and was also linked to Madonna.

Extracts of the memoir 'Come to the Edge', will appear in Vanity Fair magazine.

Facebook 'helps save boy suffering from cancer'

Posted:

Facebook seems to be emerging more than just a popular social networking website -- it has helped save a four-year-old boy suffering from leukaemia.

The boy was reportedly diagnosed with the blood cancer after his worried father put a photo of him on Facebook. Anaesthetic assistant Philip Rice noticed rash all over his son Ted's body as he put him to bed. He took a photo and put it on the social networking site. Within minutes a doctor friend recognised the rash as a symptom of acute lymphocytic leukaemia and urged him to take Ted to hospital immediately, the Daily Express reported.

The boy has now started a chemotherapy programme. Thirty-four-year-old Rice said his friend Dr Sara Barton, a colleague at Royal Salford Hospital, in Greater Manchester, may have saved his son's life.

Dr Barton said: "Philip just happened to mention, on Facebook of all places, that his son had a non-blanching rash. Next day I learned that he had acute lymphocytic leukaemia. "It's a condition with reasonable odds of cure but Ted faces three years of gruelling chemotherapy to get better."

Rice has now shaved his head to match his son Ted and is hoping his son be well enough to start school part-time in September. Ted is now in a wheelchair, having chemotherapy. The family, including mum Sarah, 33, and daughter Pippa, aged two, are trying to raise awareness and funds for The Rainbow Trust who have helped them.

Rice said: "We have had so much support from our neighbours. The whole community has been absolutely incredible."

Royal drivers given riot training

Posted:

Royal chauffeurs will undergo extra training ahead of the forthcoming wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton on April 29.

There are concerns that protesters angry over recent government spending cuts could target the event for maximum exposure.

To safeguard against any potential problems, those employed as chauffeurs for leading members of the royal family are said to be undergoing intensive driving courses which will help them deal with any difficult situations
should they arise.

The chauffeurs will also be coached on how to execute sharp U-turns and 3-point turns, manoeuvres which are particularly challenging to perform behind the wheel of a hefty Rolls Royce limo.

iPad 2 launch excites porn industry

Posted:

The launch of Apple's iPad 2 on Wednesday left a lot of consumers excited perhaps none more than those in the adult entertainment industry.

That's because the new iPad, like the latest version of the iPhone and iTouch before it, will feature Apple's signature video chat application FaceTime, which has been adapted for X-rated use by a company called iP4Play.

"iP4Play offers a two-way audio and video experience like no other where both parties can see and hear each other utilising the stunning display resolution of the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad or Apple Mac computer," the company said in a statement.

The service, which launched in August of last year, currently employs roughly 35 women.

Claiming to hold the title of the only adult video chat to operate using FaceTime, iP4Play says it has tens of thousands of users and sees roughly 30 per cent growth in its client base every month.

"The return rate of our customers is pretty encouraging too," said Travis Falstad, the company's co-Founder and managing director.

Falstad says the company is not yet making money, but is probably a couple of months away from being profitable.

The concept of using Apple products for adult content is hardly new.

Days after the iPhone 4 went on sale last year, Craigslist ads in at least five cities popped up recruiting girls to participate in video sex chats using the FaceTime application.

Surprisingly, Apple has approved X-rated applications for the iPhone before, such as MyVibe a vibrator application which launched in 2009, but the general understanding is that it will not approve the sale of adult apps in the iTunes store.

And despite Apple's history of shutting down X-rated content on its platforms, Falstad sees his company's relationship with the tech giant as mutually beneficial.

"We believe Apple is happy to have us out here helping to promote FaceTime.

Our customers have the ultimate satisfying experience so we're helping to convert tens of thousands of new FaceTime users," he said.

"Adult drives innovation in technology so I think it's a natural fit that's born out by our satisfied customers."

In anticipation of the success this technological advancement will bring, iP4Play welcomed news of the iPad2 yesterday with a day of promotion dubbed Porn Star Wednesday.

Any new launch of an Apple product is obviously very exciting," said publicist Brian Gross, who represents the adult brand.

Why White?
experts suggest that Apple launched the iPad 2 in white to attract women. The iPad 2 is also sleeker than the iPad and has 2 cameras.

Trade Me spokesman Paul Ford said a number of people have been going onto the Christchurch earthquake section of the site to offer and seek accommodation, advertise lost and found pets and even offer space to business owners who could not access their workshops.

Between Wednesday, when the section was built, and Sunday, there had been about 1,60,000 people visit the site - generating about 1.5 million page views, he said.

"It's unprecedented, really. It's the first time we've done something like this, building a page within 24 hours of a disaster happening."

Reportedly conceived as an investigative thriller, the film will be backed by DreamWorks the studio founded in 1994 by Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen.

The movie will be based on the book that charts Julian Assange's life from his itinerant childhood to the creation of the WikiLeaks website in 2006.

It also provides the inside story of Assange's partnership with The Guardian and the release of more than 2,50,000 secret diplomatic cables.

The Guardian is already considering front runners for who Spielberg will cast as Assange: John Inman, Tilda Swinton, Macaulay Culkin or Orlando Bloom.

In earlier interviews about the WikiLeaks movie, Assange had told one Brazilian interviewer that he wants his role to be played by Will Smith.

Assange Appeals
Lawyers for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange have lodged an appeal against a British court ruling that he should be extradited to Sweden over rape accusations, the court said yesterday. A court official confirmed that it had received the request for an appeal, but no date has yet been set for a hearing.
