| Bofors: CBI allowed to close Quattrochi case Posted: An advocate named Ajay K Agrawal has been urging the court that the CBI must continue with its inquiry. The CBI said that after 25 years and 250 crores, it had not been able to get Mr Quattrocchi extradited to India, despite appeals in both Malaysia and Argentina. He left India in 1993 to avoid being arrested. |

| Controversy over fake Tagore paintings Posted: Eighteen paintings, purportedly by India's first Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore, and currently on show in Kolkata, have triggered off an ugly controversy with some experts claiming they are fakes. The exhibition is being hosted by the Government Art College which has produced some of the country's best known artists. The controversy couldn't have come at a worse time. The whole country is celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of Tagore. |
