All eyes will be on Bangalore today as the city waits with bated breath to welcome rock band Metallica. The group is scheduled to perform at the Palace Grounds late this evening. The administration says all preparations are in place and so they are confident the show won't go the Gurgaon way.

Minor killed by neighbour for resisting rape

A minor girl was allegedly killed by a youth for resisting rape in Uttar Pradesh's Allahabad district, police said on Saturday. The youth has been arrested. 12-year-old Zohra (name changed), a native of Nidura locality, was killed by her neighbour Raju, 22, on Thursday. Her body was recovered on Friday from the house of the accused.

Gurgaon builder robbed of Rs 2.5 crore

Jilted lover kills girl's aunt, shoots brother, then himself

A jilted lover killed the aunt and wounded the brother of his former girlfriend. After shooting them he finally turned the gun on himself. The accused was identified as Akhtar Daulat Khan. The victims were Rajjan Karotiya alias Rani, and 18-year-old Krishna.
