A special criminal court in Riyadh yesterday sentenced 37-year-old Haila Al-Qaseer after she was convicted of taking part in various terrorist activities, Arab news reported. The court also banned her from travelling abroad for 15 years after her release.

Stacy Schuler was sentenced to a total of four years in prison for the encounters with the Mason High School students at her home in Springboro in southwest Ohio in 2010. A magnitude-6.9 earthquake centered off Peru's central coast sent people running panicked into the streets on Friday in cities badly damaged by a killer quake four years earlier. There were no reports of damage though hospital directors reported at least 20 injuries.
