A young woman in Siliguri in West Bengal has committed suicide after a college senior circulated an intimate MMS of the two of them. Before taking this extreme step, she had gone to police and threatened to commit suicide if the man was not arrested, but the police were unable to locate him, by which time, it was too late.

Two days after small-time actress Rinky Choudhary was found hanging at her residence in Mumbai, her model boyfriend was arrested on charges of murder on Saturday. "Her boyfriend, Sahil Malik (28), was grilled for last two days and was arrested on the basis of circumstantial evidence. As its second step to curtail the generation of solid waste, the state government has announced to pull the plug on the usage of plastic around 100 metres of religious institutions. Minister of ports, inland water, environment and muzrai Krishna J Palemar announced on Friday that the long-pending proposal had been approved. Woman's body found in suitcase

Body of a 25-year-old woman was found in a suitcase at Fuguna village of the district, police said in Muzaffarnagar on Saturday. Police suspect that the woman was raped and later strangled as the body bore injury marks. The police is yet to establish the identity of the woman.
