Husband, wife commit suicide after poisoning kids Posted: A couple allegedly committed suicide after killing their two daughters by giving them poison in Dausa district following a prolonged land dispute, police said. According to police, the incident took place during wee hours on Thursday in Nangal Rawatan village. The couple — Jansiram Meena, 40, and Rameshi Devi, 35, — gave poison to their daughters Komal, 6, and Pooja, 3. Later, they hanged themselves. |

The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has launched a statewide drive to recover overdue bills. Sources said that under the Pune zone — Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad and most of Pune district — there are about 350 government offices that have electricity bills pending till August this year. |
