| Joe Scarborough Tells GOP to 'Man Up' to 'Anti-Intellectual' Sarah Palin (ContributorNetwork) Posted: 04 Dec 2010 11:15 AM PST ContributorNetwork - Joe Scarborough, the host of MSNBC's Morning Joe, recently took to the op-ed page of Politico and, instead of saying something noncommittal or supportive, complained that the Republican Party needed to "man up" when it came to Sarah Palin and stop publicly playing nice with a potential candidate that not only cannot be elected but has the added potential of destroying the GOP's chances for taking the White House in 2012. Scarborough notes at the outset of his commentary that the same Republican leaders who will not state publicly that Sarah Palin would "devastate" the Republican Party do so privately. He suggests they reverse that trend. |
