Russian woman loses fight to keep dogs instead of parents Posted: A St. Petersburg woman barricaded herself in her apartment, throwing glassware and spraying tear gas at bailiffs who arrived to take her 11 dogs away and let her parents return home, authorities said The woman had thrown her 70-year-old parents out of the flat so that there was space for the dogs. It took bailiffs more than a year to resolve the problem. "The judge decided that the St. Petersburg resident must part with her pets and let her parents return to their common flat," the bailiff service said in a statement. The bailiffs had found an asylum for the dogs and then informed the woman of the date and time of their arrival to take the dogs. The pet lover said she had "a surprise" waiting for them. "First, the woman locked herself in a room with the pets, barricading the door with boxes, wardrobes and other things," the bailiff service said. It took them more than three hours to get inside the apartment, with the woman throwing glasses and crockery at bailiffs from the windows and then spraying tear gas in a hole between doors. The dogs put up resistance too, one of them biting a bailiff's shin. Eventually the men managed to get the woman handcuffed. "She was taken to a local court," the bailiff service said. "The dogs were given sleeping pills and taken to the asylum." The parents returned to the apartment.

Hef scoffs off ex-fiance's 'two second' remark Posted: Playboy founder Hugh Hefner says his former fiance Crystal Harris is lying about their sex life, or lack of it. Harris (25), who ditched 85-year-old Hefner five days before their June wedding, told radio show host Howard Stern that sex with the Playboy magazine mogul "lasted like two seconds" and that she had never seen him naked. "Crystal lied about our relationship on Howard Stern but I don't know why," Hefner said in a Twitter message. The remark, which was re-tweeted by some fans, has since been removed from his account. "Crystal convinced me that she adored me. That was the first lie," Hefner said in response to a tweet from a fan. And he told another: "I feel sorry for Crystal. She seems lost." Harris also claimed that she and Hefner only had sex once in their two-year relationship, and that Hefner was more into "couch cuddling and movie nights" than sex. Hef has announced that his new girlfriend is Shera Bechard, Playboy's Miss November 2010.

Camerons book Rs 7.2 lakh a week villa for Holiday Posted: UK Prime Minister David Cameron is off to Tuscany for a fortnight holidaying at a �10,000 (Rs 7.2 lakh)-a-week villa. The PM will jet out over the weekend with wife Samantha and their three kids, No 10 revealed yesterday. But the boost for the ailing Italian economy feared to be among the next to need a Eurozone bailout will not be met by British taxpayers.
