A 35-year-old woman was arrested while she was allegedly trying to kidnap a two-year-old boy. Police are investigating the claims made by locals that she had abducted and murdered six more children earlier for occult activities.

College student raped, blackmailed

A college girl was allegedly raped by two men who coerced her not to report the matter to police claiming they had filmed her during the criminal assault. The girl, staying in a hostel, was allegedly raped a few months back in Shiprapath area by the two men who have been arrested along with another person, police said.
