The cheeky Prince, who was Best Man to brother Wills at the wedding, laughed and joked with Maid Of Honour Pippa Middleton (27), as they walked arm-in-arm at the end of the ceremony. The pair whispered to each other and couldn't stop grinning -- perhaps in anticipation of yesterday's reception at Buckingham Palace, where Harry's sure to embarrass Will with his speech.

Zimbabwe-born Chelsy -- who has been dating Harry, on and off for a number of years - chose a turquoise Alberta Ferretti mini-skirt and off-the-shoulder top for the event. But it seemed Harry's eyes were all on Pippa, who wore a classy ivory full-length silk gown to perfectly complement her sister's lace retro-style Sarah Burton wedding dress.

Perfect sister
Stepping out wearing a cowl-neck dress which showed off her slender figure, Middleton soon became one of the most talked-about topics on social networking sites.

Future Queen selects Mcqueen

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton marries her Prince in stunning design by Sarah Burton, creative head of Alexander Mcqueen house

Since the engagement was announced, the world has been waiting with bated breath for the moment Catherine Elizabeth Middleton would transform from commoner to royal bride. And the smiling Duchess of Cambridge was the picture of poise as she walked down the aisle wearing a stunning ivory and satin Alexander McQueen gown designed by Sarah Burton -- finally confirming the most well-kept secret in fashion history.

The bride was heavily involved in designing the dress -- working closely with Burton to ensure it would be a combination of both the traditional and the modern, yet in keeping with the Alexander Lee McQueen vision and attention to detail. Her classic gown was testament to her personality, remaining true to her demure sense of style.

The gown was an elegant lace applique bodice with a 9-foot train that appeared to be inspired by Grace Kelly's gown for her marriage to Monegasque Prince Rainier III. She accessorised with a 1936 diamond 'halo' tiara by Cartier. The hair was worn in her signature loose waves with a demi-chignon. The natural look was offset by pear-shaped diamond earrings designed by Robinson Pelham and inspired by the Middleton's new coat of arms.

The veil -- made of layers of soft, ivory silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers -- fell to her waist, framing her beautiful face. The matching wedding shoes were also by a team at Alexander McQueen.

* Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton commented, "Absolutely beautiful couple!!! They look exquisite!"

Three arrested for 'mock execution' plan

Three protesters who were planning on staging mock executions outside Westminster Abbey yesterday morning were arrested by Scotland Yard. Officers from the Metropolitan Police arrested 68-year-old Chris Knight, the leader of an anti-capitalist group the Government of the Dead, at his home south east London.

His partner Camilla Power and Patrick Macroidan, who was dressed as an executioner were all arrested. Police seized a guillotine which the trio were planning on using, which fellow activists yesterday insisted would still go ahead.

Posting on Facebook and Twitter, members said that the event, described as a "right royal orgy" with "rumpy pumpy and guillotines", would go on without the three. Following their arrests a fellow activist posted a video of the raid on YouTube.

'You look stunning, babe'

William told his bride that she looked beautiful as she walked towards the altar yesterday, according to a lipreader

"You look stunning, babe," Prince William told Kate Middleton, as she walked towards him in her Alexander McQueen dress. "Yes, it looks fantastic, it's beautiful," he added, according to Ruth Press, who has been deaf since birth and works as a forensic lipreader. Prince William also cracked a joke to his father-in-law at the altar before the royal wedding ceremony, saying: "We're supposed to have just a small family affair". The joke by William to Michael Middleton was spotted by Tina Lannin, lipreader for O'Malley Communications. She also spotted Prince Harry nervously comment "Right, she is here now", as Middleton arrived at the abbey.

Lannin, who has been deaf all her life, relies on lipreading to communicate and can lipread in Arabic, Spanish, German and Japanese, as well as English. For her wedding, old was represented by a lace technique on her gown. Kate's something blue was in the form of a ribbon. She borrowed a diamond tiara from William's grandmother the Queen and something new were the earrings given to her by her parents.

Presenting the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge

Prince William and his princess puckered up to celebrate their fairytale wedding yesterday afternoon. The couple shared a brief but tender kiss on the balcony at Buckingham Palace, flanked by the Royal Wedding party and watched by the world. It was their first public display of affection since becoming husband and wife in an historic ceremony at Westminster Abbey this morning.

The couple pledged their love for one another before a 1,900-strong congregation and a TV audience estimated at two billion. The couple actually stole two kisses on the Palace's famous balcony -- the first being a very quick peck on the lips. Joined by the Queen and their families, the couple then watched the thundering flypast of a Lancaster, a Spitfire and a Hurricane from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. At the Abbey, looking beautiful, but visibly nervous, softly-spoken Kate could barely be heard reading her vows during the ceremony.

And there was a nerve-wracking fumble as Wills struggled to place the ring on her finger. The deafening cheers of the crowd gathered around the Abbey could be heard inside as the couple were pronounced man and wife.

Kate walked up the red carpeted aisle a commoner. But with her new husband at her side and a ring on her finger, the former Miss Middleton yesterday became HRH the Duchess of Cambridge, and a future Queen.

After the service, she and her husband were taken from the Abbey in the same fairytale horse-drawn 1902 State Landau carriage used by Charles and Diana on their wedding day 30 years ago.

The man of the moment, who was yesterday morning made the Duke of Cambridge, waved to well-wishers as the car left his father's official residence. He was accompanied by brother Harry, his best man. As the car emerged the crowd chanted, "We want Will! We want Will!" Bells began to ring as the pair arrived at the Abbey.

There was little sign of pre-wedding nerves as Wills, dressed in a scarlet red military tunic, chatted and laughed with Harry as they walked inside. Kate curtsied to the Queen following the ceremony. It was the first time she has been seen "paying obeisance" to the monarch.

Prayers
Prince William and Kate Middleton composed a prayer for their wedding at Westminster Abbey. "God our Father, we thank you for our families; for the love that we share and for the joy of our marriage. In the business of each day keep our eyes fixed on what is real and important in life and help us to be generous with our time and love and energy. Strengthened by our union, help us to serve and comfort those who suffer. We ask this in the spirit of Jesus Christ. Amen."

Teacher banned for telling female student she would be ''spicy in bed''

Posted:

A teacher in Australia has been barred from reapplying to teach for three years after he told a student he thought she would be "fiery and spicy in the bedroom".

A Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal hearing was told the teacher had been registered in 2007, and during 2008 he was working at an un-named co-educational independent school, the Courier Mail reported.

Last year the Queensland College of Teachers suspended him, and in April 2010 the teacher was asked to be removed from the register.

At the time of the QCAT hearing the teacher was listed as a former approved teacher.

He did not appear before the tribunal but made detailed submissions and alleged the claims were a wider campaign by former students against staff at the school.

The hearing heard the teacher had asked a girl student her star sign and then told her during a religion class he believed she would be "fiery and spicy in the bedroom".

It was further alleged he was in a public park with another student when he pulled her towards him saying he "wanted her".

The tribunal was told he had sent 50 text messages to one of the girls and she had sent 30 to him.

In his submissions the teacher said the girl, who he knew through another family member, had been flirting with him.

The tribunal found the teacher had failed to recognise the imbalance in their ages, he was 30 and she was 15.

In a written judgment, it found overall that the teacher's behaviour was unacceptable and he was not suitable to teach at the current time.

The tribunal ruled he would be prohibited from reapplying for registration as a teacher for three years, and before reapplying he would need to undergo counselling.

Al Qaeda man made himself impotent to focus on jihad

An Al Qaeda terrorist with strong links to chief Osama bin Laden used impotency injections so that he could focus on carrying out jihad and not on womanising, according to secret Guantanamo Bay files released by WikiLeaks.

Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri was captured in November 2002. During interrogations by CIA officials, he reportedly confessed to injecting himself with chemicals to stop himself from being distracted by women, according to the Daily Mail.

A secret file by an interrogator said: "Detainee is so dedicated to jihad that he reportedly received injections to promote impotence and recommended the injections to others."

Nashiri was allegedly involved in the suicide bombing of the navy destroyer Cole in 2000 in which 17 US soldiers were killed.

He also reportedly worked under Osama bin Laden's orders when he planned an attack on the French oil tanker MV Limburg in 2002.

According to the files, another Guantanamo detainee claimed he was blackmailed with a sex tape.

Abd Al Rahim Abdul Raza Janko told investigators that before joining Al Qaeda he had been studying Islamic law and Arabic literature in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

He claimed he was invited to a hotel, where a sex party was in progress.

Later, he was shown a videotape of the party and threatened that it would be sent to a TV station or his family if he refused to spy for the UAE.

Janko claimed that after being blackmailed he spiralled into Al Qaeda activities.

But officials suggested Janko's account may have been fabricated as a defence.

Medical reports found Janko has a history of mental health problem, including substance abuse, depression, borderline personality disorder, and prior suicide attempt.

Doc's widow learns he delivered baby Obama

The wife of the doctor who delivered a newborn Barack Obama back in 1961 claims she had no clue her late husband brought the future President into the world -- in Hawaii -- until she saw Obama's birth certificate this morning. Ivalee Sinclair -- the wife of Dr David A Sinclair -- said she was shocked to see her husband's signature on Obama's birth certificate... and now, even though Dr Sinclair passed away in 2003, the entire family is celebrating.

Setting the record straight : Ivalee Sinclair with a copy of Obama's
birth certificate.

Ivalee said, "Life is full of surprises! We are huge Obama supporters and our whole family has been calling one another all morning." She added, "I know my husband is just looking down on us smiling. We had no idea that he delivered President Obama until this morning when we saw the birth certificate ... It is very exciting. I just can't believe it. We had no way of knowing. Everyone is calling us and I'm looking forward to calling all of the family back and informing them that it is true."

Dr Sinclair's son Karl was blown away when he was made privy to the news. The full birth certificate released by the White House showed Obama was delivered by Dr David A Sinclair at Kapiolani Maternity and Gynaecological Hospital in Honolulu. Karl said the doctor died in Hawaii in 2003 when he was in his 80s.
"I was floored when I heard this," Karl said. "I'm a Barack supporter so it made me proud, and it would have made my Dad proud. He was a Democrat. I wish he was alive today."

He further elaborated, "He delivered tons of babies, there weren't too many gynaecologists around in those days. He was a very humble guy, and the type of guy who, if the patient couldn't pay, he would deliver anyway. We're going to have a big family celebration. It's a big day for our family."

Sinclair said his father would not have known Obama's name because the politician only appeared on the national stage after his death. Obama was elected to the US Senate in 2004.

Echoes of Lady Diana in royal wedding music

Posted:

Echoes from Princess Diana's wedding and funeral will be present in her son Prince William's marriage ceremony, the official schedule released yesterday showed. Music played at Diana's 1981 wedding to Prince Charles, and at her funeral in 1997 will be included at Westminster Abbey when their son ties the knot with his fiancee Kate Middleton today. Charles helped Middleton to choose the music by listening to tunes on iPods, a spokesman for William's St James' Palace household said.

"Catherine is very familiar with classical music. She had a lot of input from the Prince of Wales. They spent a a lot of time listening to the music together on iPods," he said. Middleton will walk up the aisle to The Introit, from the Latin meaning entrance, which was used as The Anthem at 1981.

Other links to Charles and Diana's wedding include Edward Elgar's Sonata for Organ Opus 28', William Walton's Crown Imperial and Ralph Vaughan Williams' Rhosymedre. The first hymn may have bittersweet memories for the prince -- the congregation will sing Guide me, O thou great redeemer, which was the last hymn sung at Diana's funeral 14 years ago.

Britain's PM to gift book to Wills-Kate

It's not easy finding the perfect gift for the couple who has everything. Prime Minister David Cameron (44) who is expected to attend Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding today told CBS Evening News' Katie Couric that he chose a non-traditional present for the future spouses. "William is currently serving in Anglesey, which is a small island off the coast of Wales where he does search and rescue, flies a helicopter," Cameron explained.

"I've got him a present to do with Anglesey." "It's a lovely book and beautiful photographs and things like that," he continued. "So that's what I'm giving." He also sent his best wishes to Prince William and Kate Middleton as they make final preparations for their wedding in London. "People across the country and indeed across the world are getting excited about the events on Friday," Cameron said.

Becks FB message
David Beckham has posted a royal wedding video message on his Facebook page saying "our country needs this". The footballer said, "I think a Royal Wedding, it's amazing. It really is amazing. Our country needs it. Our country wants it. The British public love the Royal Family."

Wedding snub for Syrian envoy

Britain disinvites ambassador Sami Khiyami because of bloody protests

There shall be no blood staining the royal wedding dress. Britain has disinvited Syrian Ambassador Sami Khiyami to the royal wedding in protest of a violent crackdown on protesters there. "In light of this week's attacks against civilians by the Syrian security forces, which we have condemned, the Foreign Secretary has decided that the presence of the Syrian ambassador at the royal wedding would be unacceptable," Britain's foreign office said.

Ambassadors from the 185 countries Britain has "normal diplomatic relations" with have been invited to the wedding. The ambassadors of revolt-torn Libya and Malawi -- which is engaged in a diplomatic feud with England -- were not invited. But the royal family has taken flak for inviting Zimbabwe's ambassador and other representatives of despots, while former Prime Ministers Gordon Brown and Tony Blair were left off the guest list.

"In retrospect I think the decision-makers probably would have made some different decisions," said former Foreign Secretary Jack Straw. Bahrain's Crown Prince turned down an invite, saying he didn't want unrest in his country to taint the celebration. Protesters planned to demonstrate yesterday to condemn the invitation of a Saudi prince for his role in quashing dissent in Bahrain.

'Deeply moved'
Prince William and Kate Middleton broke with tradition yesterday to thank the public for their support ahead of their big day. Their gushing message -- in the Royal Wedding Official Programme -- read, "We are both so delighted that you are able to join us in celebrating what we hope will be one of the happiest days of our lives. The affection shown to us by so many people during our engagement has been incredibly moving, and has touched us both deeply."

Dates
Chelsy Davy, who is Prince Harry's on-again-off-again girlfriend has reportedly been invited to the royal wedding. And those wondering who Kate's sister Pippa Middleton will bring for the wedding, it is rumoured that 30-year-old former cricketer Alex Loudon is expected to escort the maid of honour to the wedding of the millennium.

Kate Middleton will sport a spray-on tan today but Prince William turned down the offer saying he was no David Beckham and settled for a manicure and haircut.
