Guantanamo files: Judging detainees’ risk, often with flawed evidence Posted: Said Mohammed Alam Shah, a 24-year-old Afghan who had lost a leg as a teenager, told interrogators at the prison at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, that he had been conscripted by the Taliban as a driver before being detained in 2001. He had been caught, he said, as he tried to "rescue his younger brother from the Taliban." |

Mubarak to be tranferred to prison hospital Posted: Egypt's prosecutor general has ordered former President Hosni Mubarak be transferred to a prison hospital after a medical test declared him "fit enough" to travel. A specific date for the move, ordered by Prosecutor Abdel Maguid Mahmud's, is yet to be fixed as authorities are waiting for the Interior Ministry to arrange security measures for the transfer, an official spokesman said. |
