Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar has backed industrialist Ratan Tata's statement to NDTV that people should not be allowed to make banana republic type allegations. The Union Agriculture Minister has said: "It is a damaging statement. We should take cognizance of the statement. Government should look into it. This selective leakage system should stop."
