Two students of a tribal school, aged 10 and 11 years, are the latest victims of Naxal violence. They were killed in crossfire during an encounter between the Naxals and the security forces that began on Friday afternoon on the outskirts of Savargaon village at Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh border.

Bombay Stock Exchange receives threat email

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) received a threat mail on Thursday night stating of a possible attack on a Delhi -Mumbai Jet flight, the BSE or the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. The threat was specifically for Friday. The Mumbai police say prima facie it looks like a hoax e- mail, but the two locations and Jet flights from Mumbai to Delhi have been put on high alert.
