Rashtriya Janata Dal(RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav was caught boasting about this achievement of his party, but contrary to what he said, a survey done by an NGO has thrown out shocking figures defeating Lalu's claim outright. |

Use Indira, Rajiv names sparingly while announcing schemes: Govt to ministers Posted: The government is reportedly not happy over names of some national leaders being used indiscriminately for various programmes and schemes. Cabinet Secretary K M Chandrasekhar has hence written a letter to all ministers asking them to be selective in associating names of national leaders, particularly Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, with government schemes. |

Bombay Stock Exchange receives threat email Posted: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) received a threat mail on Thursday night stating of a possible attack on a Delhi -Mumbai Jet flight, the BSE or the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. The threat was specifically for Friday. The Mumbai police say prima facie it looks like a hoax e- mail, but the two locations and Jet flights from Mumbai to Delhi have been put on high alert. |
