Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee today visited the ailing mother of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the SSKM hospital here. Mukherjee, who arrived at the hospital around 1:20 pm straight from the airport, visited 81-year-old Gayatri Banerjee at her cabin in the state-run hospital's Woodburn Ward.


Man seeks to surrender phones bought from J Dey murder accused

A man on Friday approached a Mumbai special court hearing journalist J. Dey's murder case, saying that he wants to surrender four SIM cards and four mobile phones given to him by Jigna Vora, a prime accused and the victim's colleague.
