| Teacher arrested for sexually abusing 6-year-old Posted: 04 Oct 2011 05:01 AM PDT A 35-year old teacher was arrested by the Malabar Hill police station yesterday for allegedly sexually abusing a six-year-old student. Shivaji Tawde, a physical education teacher at Manav Mandir High School, allegedly followed a std II student to the washroom last Wednesday and sexually abused the minor. A police official from the Malabar Hill police station said, "After sexually assaulting the minor, he threatened the child and told him not to tell anyone of the incident."

| Posted: 04 Oct 2011 04:59 AM PDT More than 60 hours after the abduction of nine-month-old Khusab by his own father and grandfather, the baby was dramatically produced in the court on Monday. The chief judicial magistrate (CJM) court then handed over the child to his mother. The police also arrested the accused, Devender Singh, and his father Himmat Singh, who were sent to three-day police remand. Devender is an MBBS doctor posted in a government hospital in Haryana's Jhajjar district.
