A 24-year-old man was found hanging from the ceiling fan at his Malwani residence on Saturday. The police responded to a call made by the deceased's partner. A case of suicide has been registered. Maharashtra state-government owned power distribution utility 'Mahavitaran', (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co Ltd) has come up with a novel idea of installing a 'prepaid electric meter' in homes. The meter can be recharged, like mobile top-ups.
