A first-year engineering student, Ankush Ingalwar (20), on Wednesday stabbed and injured his 16-year-old girlfriend before jumping from the terrace of a five-storey complex at Sanasenagar in Hadapsar. The incident happened around 10 am, after which Ingalwar was rushed to Sassoon General Hospital. He was declared dead later in the day. The police said the girl, who is the daughter of Ingalwar's aunt, was admitted to a private hospital and was recovering.
