Unpaid Air India pilots warn they are distracted mid-air Posted: If you're considering flying Air India, you should know that your pilot has disclosed that he or she may have trouble concentrating. In a letter to the airline's management, two unions that represent 1000 Air India pilots have said, "Any human being put under such extreme stress is liable to perform poorly. In case of any unfortunate incident/accident the entire blame will be on the current CMD and top management."
Karnataka's In God We Trust Vote may not happen Posted: When politicians engage in warfare, as they frequently do, who's to decide who's right? God apparently. In Karnataka, Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa dared his arch-rival and Opposition leader HD Kumaraswamy to meet him in a temple. In an open letter published in local newspapers, Mr Yeddyurappa said that Mr Kumaraswamy should swear before God that his allegations of corruption against the Chief Minister are based in fact.

Food inflation rises to 2.5-month high of 9.13% Posted: Food inflation in the country touched a two-and-half-month high of 9.13 per cent for the week ended June 11 on the back of costlier fruits, milk, onions and protein-based items. Reacting to the price data, Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee said, “High weekly inflation figures are not acceptable and inflation needs to be brought down."
