Two more people were arrested in Ahmedabad on Tuesday in connection with the fake pilot licence scam. Police have not revealed the name of the pilot yet. The pilot got a commercial pilot license through forged papers. The second person to be arrested was a tout.

"However, his level of consciousness has considerably improved. His vital systems are in stable condition. He still continues to be on assisted ventilation through ventilator and CRRT, which is a slow dialysis process," said the latest health bulletin issued by the Director of the Sri Satya Sai Institute at Prashantigram near Puttaparthi.

Earthquake of magnitude 5.7 at India-Nepal border, tremors felt in Delhi

An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale and with an epicentre in Nepal shook parts of north India, including capital Delhi and its suburbs on Monday evening. There are no reports yet of damage or loss of life.
