LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Police have arrested two suspects in an armed invasion at a Los Angeles-area Nordstrom Rack store last week in which 14 people were held captive, one of them stabbed and another sexually assaulted, the Los Angeles Times reported on Sunday. The Times, citing unnamed sources close to the law enforcement investigation, reported that one of the suspects was arrested on Friday morning and that the other was taken into custody on Saturday at a motel in Phoenix, Arizona. (Reuters) - Police on Saturday shot and wounded a man at a San Diego movie theater who was suspected of having threatened his girlfriend with a handgun earlier in the day. San Diego police said an officer shot the man at the theater shortly before 4 p.m. local time. The San Diego Union-Tribune newspaper said the theater was evacuated after the shooting. An incident reported more than an hour earlier may have led to the shooting, police said.
