However, the Harry Potter author is keeping her fans guessing about the characters and plot of her new book. She said, "Although I've enjoyed writing it every bit as much, my next book will be very different to the Harry Potter series.

The freedom to explore new territory is a gift that Harry's success has brought me." The Potter books were published by Bloomsbury, but Rowling said that it was 'logical' to have a new publisher for her adult work and has switched to Little, Brown.

Industry insiders estimate the deal is worth more than 5 million (Rs 40 crore) and it is expected the new book will be released later this year. Rowling said that she was "delighted" to have a "second publishing home" in Little, Brown in what she described as a "new phase" of her writing life.

The seven Harry Potter books, which inspired a movie franchise, have sold more than 450 million copies worldwide.

Grave robbers target Whitney's jewels

The late singer's final resting site is protected by guards, as her family is worried of grave robbers targeting the Rs 2.32-crore jewels she was buried in

Armed security guards have been placed at Whitney Houston's grave to prevent grave robbers from plundering 300,000 (Rs 2.32 crore) worth of jewels and clothing the singer was buried in. Round-the-clock guards are protecting the plot at the Fairview Cemetery in New Jersey, despite the area being closed to the general public earlier this week.

A source said, "There is a very genuine fear that her coffin will be targeted by grave robbers. It would be hard for them to actually dig her casket up, but that won't stop psychotic fans or people who think it could make them money. The fact she was buried with such valuable jewellery is just an invitation to sickos." The source added, "It's ironic that Whitney, who was most famous for The Bodyguard movie when she was alive, has to have bodyguards even in death."

The 'I Will Always Love You' singer, who died on February 11 aged 48, is understood to have been buried in a gold lined casket worth upwards of 10,000, and wearing a diamond brooch and earrings.

Paying respects
The overwhelming number of fans paying visits to the grave following Houston's burial on February 19 forced official to close the cemetery to the public indefinitely. Police Captain Cliff Auchter said that overcrowding and traffic congestion led to the decision. "It's a private property, and it's up to them to make that decision," he told reporters.

"It was done in light of the overcrowding that occurred. The cemetery is a maze of very small roads, so if two cars come face to face, you have a Mexican standoff." The situation is being evaluated on a daily basis, the captain added, and those with relatives buried on the site will not be affected by the ban. Meanwhile a source close to the late singer's family spoke of their rage at the publication of Whitney in her coffin by The National Enquirer.

"Seeing Whitney at a funeral home for the final time was a very intimate moment for her closest relatives, and that's exactly how it should have been kept," the source said. "For a magazine to be profiting from their grief is a disgrace." Houston was found dead in the bath of her Beverly Hilton hotel room on February 11.

Houston's funeral rights sold
Whitney Houston's family has struck a deal to sell video footage of the star's funeral. Houston was buried in Newark, New Jersey over the weekend at a private ceremony for family and close friends. The family has decided to sell her "home going" ceremony footage by special license to "several media outlets," according to a representative for the family. The representative added the customary fees charged for the footage would "help maximise the estate for the benefit of Bobbi Kristina."
