Revenue rose 11% to $6.62 bil, beating views for $6.52 bil. DirecTV (NMS:DTV) said it added a net 667,000 subscribers in Q4, the most in any quarter in a decade, citing its DVR and high-definition features. Cable companies, meanwhile, have lost subscribers recently. Shares rose 1.8% to 45.03. |
