Police say a house fire appears to have killed Swedish actor Per Oscarsson, who starred in movies based on Stieg Larsson's Millennium trilogy, and his wife. Police spokesman Jan Strommegard says the remains of one person  found  Sunday, Jan. 2 2011  near Skara, Sweden, 33 km (20 miles) southwest of capital Stockholm,  in the ashes of the house, are probably those of the 83-year-old actor or his wife, 67-year-old Kia Ostling. Both were reported missing by their relatives who say the couple apparently was home when the fire destroyed the house early Friday. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the TV music veteran -- whose past credits include "Showtime at the Apollo" and NBC's "The Singing Bee's" -- will step in to replace the departed Rickey Minor for the reality competition's upcoming tenth season.
