"A notification for increasing the price has been issued on December 31," a senior Transport official told PTI. Supply shortage pushes onion price at Rs 45-50 a kg

After a brief lull, onion price has once again started soaring in the local vegetable market, due to supply shortage for the bulb vegetable. Goa University today cancelled two papers of final year of the MBBS course following leakage of question papers. Goa Medical College Dean V Jindal told reporters that the papers of General Medicine-I and General Medicine-II were leaked to students prior to the exam.
