Meet the Brit man who is set to marry his Christmas tree!

A Brit man is set to fulfill his desire of marrying his Christmas tree.

Andy, also known as Mr Christmas, has admitted many will think he's had too much sherry but that hasn't stopped him drawing up plans for the ceremony.

"I love my Christmas tree more than anything else, so that's why I want to marry it," the Sun quoted the 47-year-old divorcee from Melksham, Wilts, as saying.

"I've already got a ring, although I'm not sure yet which branch I'll want to hang it on. The only problem seems to be finding a vicar who is willing to do the ceremony," he said.

He said that although he'd only had the plastic tree for two years, he felt it was like "his best friend" and he never tired of seeing it sitting in his living room.

"I can't see why we can't be joined in matrimony. I've heard of other people marrying their pets and so on, so why can't I get hitched to my tree?" he added.

Footage showing a naked Paris Hilton taking a bath has become the most watched showbiz video, with nearly 800,000 people viewing it this year alone.

The video, which was unintentional, has become the most watched clip for the second consecutive year after it surfaced in 2007, the Sun reported.

The second place was taken by a video of actress Lindsay Lohan doing a topless turn in the 'Machete' trailer, and actress Gemma Atkinson's flesh-flashing lesbian romp in the 'Boogie Woogie' promo came third.

Actress Pamela Anderson's early morning welcome for the iPhone alarm was fourth, and footage from socialite Kim Kardashian's sex tape took fifth place.

Kiss rocker Gene Simmons has bedded nearly 5,000 women!

Kiss rocker Gene Simmons has revealed that he slept with about 5,000 women during his 37 years of touring.

In a radio interview with 'Woody and The Wake-Up Call', Simmons said that the he even took a picture of nearly every single women he slept with, reports Fox News.

Moreover, the 61-year-old doesn't believe in monogamy-or marriage.

"The only thing wrong with marriage is that one of the persons involved is a man," he often says.

A make-up artist sued Simmons for 500,000 dollars over claims of sexual assault and battery in May this year.

Baby boy with rare condition turns out to be a girl 1 month later

A couple in South Africa celebrated the birth of their baby boy - only to find out a month later that she was actually a girl.

The baby appeared to have male genitals at birth and even doctors confirmed he was a boy.

Four week after the birth, mum Madeleshia and hubby Kenneth sensed that something was wrong and took their baby to hospital where after some tests it was confirmed that the baby was a female.

Toddler, Kenny Hiscock, had enlarged organs because of a rare enzyme deficiency, which causes abnormal hormone production.

The couple has now renamed Kenny as McKenzi and are considering surgery.

"The doctor told us McKenzi is not really male or female, but somewhere between," the Sun quoted the mother as saying.

"But we have a beautiful daughter, and we're both incredibly proud," she said.

She has been exposed yet again, but this time in a way that would appeal to her fans worldwide - Russian spy Anna Chapman will be seen naked in the January issue of Playboy.

The naked pictures are from an ex-boyfriend and were part of a batch of nude photos, which appeared online in July. Her ex-husband, Alex had also given the world a peek into their sex life and shared several semi-nude pictures of her.

"I found her Russian accent such a turn-on. We were having so much fun. We also experimented with sex toys," the New York Daily News quoted him as telling the News of the World.

Chapman did pose for the Russian edition of Maxim magazine in October.

"Seduction, like love and friendship are the same everywhere," she told Maxim in Russian.

"Most men are divided in three categories: primitive, those that only want sex; smarter, those that want to be loved, and [the] last group -- those that not only want to be loved, they also need that this love will be the biggest and most amazing feeling in your life," she said.

Four wives beat Bangladesh man to death

A man in Bangladesh who kept his four wives in the dark about his multiple marriages was beaten to death, allegedly by all of them, a media report said Wednesday.

Yunus Bepari, 46, an autorickshaw driver, went to a village fair last Monday with two wives where he was confronted by his third wife. When the women exchanged information, they found that he had a fourth wife too.

The three women learnt that Yunus' fourth wife was living in another village. The three women then took him to the residence of his fourth wife at Kabirpur where the four women together beat him up mercilessly, New Age newspaper reported, quoting local villagers.

He was taken in a critical condition to Faridpur Medical College Hospital where he died.

Islamic Shariah allows a man to take up to four wives, but that should be with the consent of his existing wives, the newspaper said.

Haneef's lawyer silent on '$1m Oz Govt compensation' Indian: Media report

The lawyer of Mohamed Haneef, the Indian-origin doctor who was wrongly arrested over suspicion of involvement in the 2007 Glasgow International Airport terrorist attack, has refused to confirm that he had received a million dollars in compensation as was reportedly claimed by a section of the Indian media yesterday.

It was reported yesterday that Dr Haneef was awarded a substantial but confidential amount of compensation following negotiations with the federal government. However, an Indian daily newspaper had claimed that the amount could be as much as one million dollars.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Dr Haneef''s lawyer Rod Hodgson has said that the settlement was ''''substantial'''' and that he was ''''delighted'''' with the deal, but did not confirm the amount.

Yesterday Hodgson had said that part of the agreement is that the parties would not discuss the details of the settlement, and added: 'Although I can say that Dr Haneef will receive a substantial compensation.'

Dr Mohamed Haneef returned to Australia last week to seek compensation after he was wrongfully accused of terrorist links and held in prison in July 2007. He was taken into custody and charged with recklessly giving support to a terrorist organisation when his mobile phone SIM card was linked to an attack in Britain in 2007.

However, charges against the Indian born doctor were dropped as prosecutors admitted bungling the case, and an independent inquiry cleared him of any wrongdoing.

Fritzl to get extra hour in bed and roast chicken dinner on Christmas Day

Cellar monster Josef Fritzl will be treated to an extra hour in bed and a meal of roast chicken on Christmas Day.

Meanwhile, his daughter, whom he raped for 24 years, will celebrate the holiday with her mother and six incest children 150 miles away, reports the Daily Mail.

Elisabeth Fritzl has invited her mother Rosemarie to her home in a small village for the festivities at the end of a year in which her tormentor contacted her over 20 times by letter.

He also tried telephoning but the prison put a block on him making contact with her.

Elisabeth, who was held in a secret dungeon by her deranged father beneath the family home in the Austrian town of Amstetten for 24 years to be raped an estimated 3,000 times by him, has instructed the psychiatric prison at Stein where he is held to block all further letters to her.

Fritzl will be fed with fish and potato salad and allowed to watch TV in the afternoon on Christmas Eve. He will also be permitted to attend a special church service for prisoners in the jail church attended by a visiting bishop.

He also gets an extra hour s lie-in on Christmas morning to 8.00am followed by a breakfast of rolls, butter and jam and at lunchtime the chicken with rice and a green salad.

Japan produces 'singing mouse'

Japanese scientists said yesterday they had produced a mouse that tweets like a bird in a genetically engineered "evolution" which they hope will shed light on the origins of human language.

A team of researchers at the University of Osaka created the animal in their "Evolved Mouse Project", in which they use genetically modified mice that are prone to miscopying DNA and thus to mutations.

"Mutations are the driving force of evolution. We have cross-bred the genetically modified mice for generations to see what would happen," said lead researcher Arikuni Uchimura.

"We checked the newly born mice one by one... One day we found a mouse that was singing like a bird," he said, noting that the singing mouse was born by chance but that the trait will be passed on to future generations.

"I was surprised because I had been expecting mice that are different in physical shape," he said by telephone, adding that in fact the project had also produced a mouse with short limbs and a tail like a dachshund.

The laboratory, directed by professor Takeshi Yagi at the Osaka University's Graduate School of Frontier Bio-sciences in western Japan, now has more than 100 singing mice for further research.

The team hopes they will provide clues on how human language evolved.

Scientists have found that birds use different sound elements, put them together into chunks like words in human languages and then make strings of them to sing songs, that are subject to certain linguistic rules.

"Mice are better than birds to study because they are mammals and much closer to humans in their brain structures and other biological aspects," Uchimura said.

"I know it's a long shot and people would say it's "too absurd" but I'm doing this with hopes of making a Mickey Mouse some day," he said.

Wikileaks chief claims he lost tooth, was stuck with paedophiles in prison

The tooth hurts. WikiLeaks mastermind Julian Assange continued his whining yesterday, complaining that he lost a tooth while in a British prison after he bit into a metal object in his food.

Prison apparently did not agree with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

The 39-year-old Australian whined to Spanish newspaper El Pais that he had been held in a wing housing people who "have been convicted of sexual offences, child killers."

He also told the paper he lost a tooth after chewing on a metal object stuck in his food.

"It will soon be for sale on eBay," he joked about the missing tooth, which he said he wrapped in paper and placed in his cell.

"I suppose [it was taken] because they didn't want any kind of evidence that such an episode had occurred."

While he clearly did not enjoy his time in prison, Assange didn't mention anything to the newspaper about missing loved ones including what a newspaper had reported about him fathering a son at the age of 17.

Like father, like son?

The son, reportedly named Daniel, was born when Assange first started hacking and busted with Pentagon passwords on his computer. With his first arrest, the mother of his child fled with his only son.

Now Daniel (20), is working for a software design company.

While the two have a strong resemblance, Assange's ex had full custody of the child for most of his life after a drawn-out custody battle, according to the newspaper.

The news of the child is just the latest detail of the WikiLeaks' founder's life that has come out much to his disdain.

Over the weekend, his lawyers ironically blasted Swedish cops for leaking his police report to the media.

Also, an American journalist claimed Assange stole his girlfriend days before having sex with the first of his two accusers.

The unidentified journalist told the newspaper that the three dined together at a Swedish restaurant.

As the woman went out for a cigarette, Assange followed her and the two were later spotted walking holding hands, the journalist said.

"Assange seemed to take pleasure in humiliating me," the journalist told the newspaper. After all, the journalist said, the WikiLeaks founder had no problem getting women.

"A lot of women were extremely attracted to Julian, and after a few minutes, they offered themselves to him," he said.

Assange is currently in London, where he was released on bail earlier this month. He is fighting extradition to Sweden over allegations of sex crimes, which he has vehemently denied, often calling it a CIA plot.

"Of course, the enemies of WikiLeaks may try to use this, but it begins with the two women and Julian. It is not the CIA sending a woman in a short skirt," one his lawyers told reporters.

Extradition hearings have garnered intense interest around the world from supporters and naysayers of Assange, who recently released hundreds of top-secret cables.

On Monday a British lord chief justice said that journalists could use social media including Twitter, texting and email during Assange's hearings as long as it did not interfere with court proceedings or influence witnesses.

Sexy spy to lead Vladimir Putin Youth group

Anna Chapman, the Russian sleeper agent at the centre of a spy ring in the US, is to become a leader of the youth wing of Vladimir Putin's United Russia party, according to reports in Moscow.

Russian media said Chapman would be appointed at a congress of Molodaya Gvardiya (Young Guard) in the capital tomorrow.

"Chapman will become the head of one of the new governing bodies of Molodaya Gvardiya," said a source in the organisation.

Chapman, (28), would be assigned work with "patriots and young business people".

Nationalist youth groups like Molodaya Gvardiya are seen by the Kremlin as an essential tool in attempts to suppress "the orange scenario" a reference to mass protests known as the orange revolution that forced a change in Ukraine's leadership in 2005.

Putin, the prime minister, has already expressed his admiration for Chapman who was exposed and ejected from the US in June. In July, he got together with the spies who were never formally accused of espionage to sing nostalgic Soviet songs.

Molodaya Gvardiya is a fanatically pro-Putin youth group that fell under suspicion last month, when newspaper reporter Oleg Kashin was beaten close to death with an iron bar outside his home in Moscow.

Chapman was not available for comment. She has given no in-depth interviews but has posed semi-naked for men's magazines.
